To change your password:

* Click on your login name at the top left of your dashboard.
This will bring up your own, personal user account details.

* Your login information will be displayed.

* Simply click on the box that says password and type in your new desired password.

* To finish, simply click submit.

Please note that new passwords must follow the password strength rules:
* Minimum of 8 characters.
* Mixed case containing numbers and symbols.

The Password Strength Meter will show you whether your password is strong enough.

If your desired password is not deemed strong enough, make it stronger by changing the case of some of the letters and by replacing some letters with numbers.

Basically, make the password hard to guess to protect your account from unauthorized use.

Your new password is read to use.

WTS pretty much runs out of the box. However, there are some features which require additional software or configuration.
Here's a quick checklist which may help to solve the most common issues with a new install or a new workstation.

* Internet Access - HTTP and HTTPS must be allowed.

* Browser - Firefox or Internet Explorer 7 or above. (Firefox is preferred for security and stability reasons.)

* Java - Various features of WTS require Java in order to function. (e.g. Label Printing and Signature Capture.) Ensure the latest version of Java is installed by visiting www.java.com

* Signature Capture Driver - See the [[Supported Device Drivers]] page for installation information.

* Zebra Label Printer - Windows XP and Windows Vista use different drivers and have different configuration requirements. See the [[Supported Device Drivers]] page for more information.

* Label Format - The default package label format uses a 2" x 2" template. Templates can be modified to support any size label. The printer driver must be configured otherwise a blank label will be produced or nothing at all.

* Handheld Device Cradle - In order for the Handheld devices to be able to charge or see the internet, the Cradles must be configured correctly. They require power and a network connection with access to the internet.

* Zebra Printer - The Zebra printer has specific power requirements and must be connected using it's own power supply. Other power supplies will not work. The Zebra printer can be connected to a workstation via a USB or parallel port. Please ensure that a high quality USB lead is used if the one supplied becomes lost or damaged.

* Handheld Device - The Motorola series of Mobile Computers MC55 & MC65 usually arrive pre-installed. A large and fast SD card will have been installed. The WTS Mobile software will have been installed to the SD card. The Motorola Data Wedge program will have been installed and configured.

Data can be imported into WTS as either part of your account's initial set-up or as part of a recurring administrative task to keep data synchronized with a back-end system.

'''Existing recipients will be updated where possible.'''

If the '''import code''' is supplied, the recipient can be accurately matched.
The import code can be anything, as long as it's unique.
It can be an employee number or any other type of unique identifying code. This is important for ensuring that changes to names are respected.

If the Import Code is not supplied, the existing recipient is matched based on their '''name and location''' (to prevent 2 John Smiths at 2 locations being confused as the same person).
This is not as accurate as using an Import Code and may lead to duplicates where someone has moved location or changed their name.

The '''Location Code''' is used to find locations previously imported or added into the WTS system.

In most cases, the location list will have been massaged into a very useful tree structure and the recipients lovingly placed in their correct locations.
By using the import codes for both recipient and location, the existing tree structure is preserved and recipients are moved to their new locations.

Any Locations not found within the Delivery locations list will be added during the import. However, they will not be placed in any particular branch of the location tree, this will have to be done manually after the import. However, if the location was added using an import code, their position in the tree will be retained during future imports.

There is a way to import the location tree during the recipient import.
By supplying a Building Code, a Room No and a City, the Importer will create the relevant tree structure when creating the locations.

This example import will achieve this.
<div style="border:1px solid #aaaaaa;background-color:#eeeeee;padding:4px;">
'''Code,BuildingCode,Site,LastName,FirstName,Extension,Room,,Company,City,State'''
</div>

Alerts are useful for displaying a notification message when a package is received.

Alerts are active on both the website and on the hand-held. The website has the additional option to print the alerts.

To create a new alert, enter the details for the alert and press '''Add Alert'''. You can modify any alerts in the list of defined alerts by pressing the edit icon next to the alert to be edited.

Note: Take care when defining the criteria for the alert. All supplied criteria must match the details from the package before an alert will be displayed. For instance, if an alert has been defined for a FedEx package for Joe Smith from Amazon, then the alert will only display under those exact circumstances. Other packages received for Joe Smith will not trigger the alert.

Alerts can also be defined to reassign packages to another recipient. This is useful in cases when a recipient or employee is on vacation and another colleague monitors any packages in their absence. A reassign can be defined so that any packages received up until a specific date will be automatically transferred to the other recipient.

WTS is a package receiving and delivery tracking system designed to be used over the internet to offer unparalleled access to data from anywhere without requiring an expensive infrastructure within the organization to support it.

In it's simplest implementation, you only need a single PC. However, it is most commonly used in conjunction with hand-held devices running one of the WTS disconnected clients. These hand-helds take the simple WTS concept and make it much more than the sum of it's parts; allowing for remote queries by individuals inquiring about the whereabouts of a package, signature capture at multiple delivery points as well as being able to receive packages into the organization from remote locations.

It has been designed so that anyone can quickly pick it up with minimal training and resources and quickly get the most out of it.
The MAC Addresses are located on the underside of the cradle. If for some reason the sticker is missing or is unreadable, follow the steps below.

If you do not know the IP address of the cradle, please refer to [http://help.sqbx.com/index.php?title=Cradle_IP_Address Cradle IP Address]. If you already know or have the IP Address, please continue.

To find the MAC Address:

1. Open the '''Command Prompt''' on your desktop computer. To do this, click on "'''Start'''", then open "'''All Programs'''", then proceed to the "'''Accessories'''" folder.

2. Then click on "'''Command Prompt'''".

3. When the Command Prompt is open, type "'''arp -a'''" then hit enter. This will display all the IP Addresses connected in your network along with their appropriate Physical Address (or MAC Address) to the right. Locate the IP Address in the list and to the right is the MAC Address.
The Dashboard customization is saved according to the user who sets it up, so each individual user can customize according to their needs without affecting other user's Dashboards. This gives WTS a personal Dashboard layout for each user.
