User Admin
When you first view this screen, it is separated in 2 sections. The first section is for creating a new user and the second section is for managing the current user database.
The following are options available to you when managing the users:
- Edit tool = Allows you to edit the associated user or remove them.
- Activity = Shows if any packages were received by the user.
- De-Link = This disconnects the user's ability to use a hand-held device until they log out and back into WTS using the hand-held device.
- Unlock = This will occur when a user locks their account after 6 unsuccessful attempts. Click on the lock icon to unlock the user so they re-attempt to log back into WTS.
When creating or editing a user, the options below will be available to you:
- Name = The full name of user.
- User Name = The name they are going to use to log into WTS.
- Password/Verify Password = Change/assign a password for the user. This will require you to type it 2 times for verification. A bar graph above the submit key will display the password strength. The password strength should be at least medium in strength or yellow in color. The password should be at least 8 characters in length, one capital letter and a number included. An example of an acceptable password would be: Password1.
- Email Address = Assigns an e-mail address to the user account. Needed for e-mail functionality within WTS.
- Job Function = This allows you to assign a user to a specific job category or group. These groups can be modified through the main admin menu under Job Function Management.
