Network Issues:
Getting a handheld on the Network
Most of the time WTS requires little or no IT with most of our customers. However, sometimes a company will require IT involvement when installing new hardware on their Network.
MAC Addresses on each port of the 4port cradle:
Some Networks filter by MAC addresses for identifying a device and the IT may need to know the MAC address to allow the device on their Network.
Port 80 and Port 443 need to be accessible for the handhelds in order for WTS to have access to them.
IT should allow access to *wts.neopost.com (all sub-domains for both http and https)
Active Sync Connection Settings:
- Check "Allow USB Connections"
- Check "Allow connections to one of the following and select DMA"
- Set This Computer is connected to: the Internet
